Hani El Assaad

Hani El Assaad is the Vice President Sales and Relationship Management for the Middle East and Turkey. Based in Beirut, Lebanon, his responsibilities include Sales Account Management and Customer Service Management. In 2003, El Assaad was appointed Vice President Business Management for SITA in the Middle East and Africa.

With a strong background in sales and business finance, El Assaad joined SITA in 1995 as Sales Manager for the Middle East. In July 1998, he became Regional Sales Director and then Regional Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa in June 2000. Six months later, the entire region of Africa was added to his territory and he became Vice President, Middle East and Africa, responsible for all sales operations in this region.

A Lebanese Canadian, El Assaad earlier spent five years between Canada and Beirut working for small-to-medium sized firms in finance and marketing. He holds a Master in Economics degree from St Joseph University, Beirut and an MBA from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Montreal. His hobbies are sports and financial readings.
