Kapil Kaul is based in the New Delhi office of Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA) established in 2003 and is responsible for the delivery of all India-based consulting and research projects. He has over 23 years' experience in the aviation and hospitality industry.
Kaul's previous roles include that of Product Manager, ITC-Welcomgroup; Vice President, East West Airlines; Chief General Manager, Air Sahara; Vice President, Crown Air; Project Advisor, Kuoni Travel Holdings; and Consultant, Aviation Resources Group. He is member of the CII’s national committee on aviation, Goodwill Ambassdor of Saarc Tourism Council, Academic Council Member of UPES, Vice-President of Apama India and Member of the advisory board of Kuoni Travel Academy.
A BSc holder from Kashmir University, Kaul ranked in an ITC management programme and holds IATA certifications. Kaul is married and has a daughter. He speaks Hindi and English and is a keen sportsman, writer and an aviation commentator. Leisure activities include listening to Indian music and travelling.
