Christian started his career in BP in 1990 and currently holds a number of Directorship roles in the Middle East and Africa region, including United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt and Lebanon 

He earned his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology in London, England.

He is a member of the Global Advisory Board of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, USA.
