Patrick Natali is retired from the Armament Engineers Corps but began his career as a military engineer, in charge of design and overhaul of safety-diving onboard French submarine ballistic missiles.
He worked for 11 years as a Technical Advisor at the Royal Saudi Naval Forces in Riyadh, in charge of Saudi-French armament naval contracts. In 2007, he returned to the Defence Procurement Agency to manage the rationalisation of the European Defence Test and Evaluation Bases and develop partnerships in this domain with the US, Great Britain and Canada. Since October 2010, Natali has been appointed as General Delegate for SAFRAN holding group in the Middle East based in Abu Dhabi.
Here, he manages SAFRAN’s two delegations at Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Born in 1960, Natali is a French national and speaks English and Arabic fluently. He graduated from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Ingenieurs des Etudes et Techniques d’Armement, France and has been decorated with the Knight of the order of Merit.
