Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport in Turkey has received the ACI Europe’s Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) Level 1 certificate.

All airports in Turkey operated by TAV participated in the program.

Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, operated by TAV Airports- a member of Groupe ADP, received the certificate as it met the requirements of the first tier of the program created by ACI Europe, which aims to contribute to the fight against climate change by eliminating carbon emissions.

With a responsibility to leave an inhabitable environment for future generations, we are working to minimise the environmental impact of our operations while creating the greatest possible benefits for our stakeholders. We continue our efforts to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality by 2030 and zero emissions by 2050 at all airports we operate. With Gazipasa’s certification, our five airports in Turkey and a total of eight airports in our portfolio have joined the ACA program.”

TAV’s Izmir Adnan Menderes, Antalya and Ankara Esenboğa airports have reached the carbon neutral level at the ACA program. Croatia Zagreb and Tunisia Enfidha are in the third level; while Tunisia Monastir Airport is on the second level and Milas-Bodrum and Gazipaşa-Alanya are on the first level of the program.
