ACSF Introduces IAS Lite for Streamlined Audits

The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) has introduced IAS Lite, a streamlined audit program designed for independent charter and non-commercial operators.

IAS Lite allows operators to achieve ACSF audit registration and meet FAA Part 5 safety management systems (SMS) requirements with less complexity and cost compared to extensive audits.

Operators start with the Operator Pre-Audit Checklist for preparation and preliminary review. An audit team professional guides them through the process. Audits are valid for 24 months, with the option for earlier re-evaluation.

ACSF President and CEO Bryan Burns highlighted that IAS Lite offers a tailored, cost-effective solution for small and medium-sized operators, ensuring they can meet high safety standards and improve their operational safety culture.

“IAS Lite represents a significant advancement for independent charter and non-commercial operators, providing them with a customized, affordable, scalable approach to safety management,” said ACSF president and CEO Bryan Burns. “This program ensures that even the smallest operators can meet and exceed the highest safety standards, ultimately enhancing their operational safety culture.”
