Alpha Aviation Simulator Center opens near Sharjah Airport

The center is equipped with a Airbus A320 FSTD (Fixed-Base) that has both Classic CFM-ceo and CFM-neo LEAP engine options by  Airbus A320 engine provider and global leading supplier of jet engines for commercial aircraft, CFM International.

The new state-of-the-art simulator center aims to allow the academy to further extend its services to pilots who can benefit from refresher training, Type-Rating, CBT courses, radiotelephony sessions and aviation workshops during such unprecedented times.

The center will help support the continuity of international and regional flight simulator training. Characterised by an advanced RSI visual system supporting high-definition resolution of high-detail airports, the centre’s FSTD purveys additional capacity for the Academy’s simulator training products.

AAA’s general manager, Captain Nadhem AlHamad said: “It brings us immense honor and pleasure to officiate the inauguration of the Alpha Aviation Simulator Centre in the presence of our chairman, Adel Al Ali. With the center’s aim to bridge simulator training gap during such unprecedented times, we are very pleased to be of service to the local and international aviation communities through the provisions of our diversified training portfolio.”
