Corsair Refocuses Strategy After Fleet Renewal & Financial Turnaround

Corsair has unveiled a streamlined network strategy and strong 2024 financial results, marking its first profit in six years. The French carrier reported a €3M operating profit (+€40M YoY) and €701M revenue (+9%), driven by 17% cargo growth and 43% ancillary sales.

The airline completed its A330neo fleet renewal in early 2024 with its ninth delivery, achieving 25% lower emissions and 60% noise reduction. CEO Pascal de Izaguirre stated: “This modernization delivers competitive pricing without compromising quality or sustainability.” The aircraft now serve core routes like Paris-Cotonou, with Brazzaville launching in Q2 2025.

Corsair will exit the Paris-Montréal route after 20 years to concentrate on its “three pillars: West Indies, Indian Ocean, and Africa.” De Izaguirre emphasized: “Our 2023 results prove our strategy’s resilience amid industry challenges.”
