Europe’s 1st Level D Simulator for Bombardier Challenger 350 Installed

Axis Flight Simulation has launched mainland Europe’s first level D flight simulator for the Bombardier Challenger 350 at Aviation Academy Austria in Vienna. Approved by AustroControl on behalf of EASA, the full-flight simulator features a Van Halteren motion system, an RSi XT6 visual system with a 200×45 field of view, and Collins Pro Line 21 avionics.

Christian Theuermann of Axis Flight Simulation announced plans to upgrade the simulator with an autothrottle for training on the newer Challenger 3500. The simulator was validated through extensive testing with Aeroset and is available for training packages or third-party dry leases.

Michael Holy, Managing Director of Aviation Academy Austria, highlighted the simulator’s advanced features and realism, promising to set new standards in Challenger CL350 pilot training.
