GANS and UAE GCAA Partner for Advanced Air Traffic Control Training

Global Air Navigation Services (GANS) has entered a strategic agreement with the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to provide training for air traffic controllers.

Under the new contract, GANS will deliver training services for GCAA’s ab-initio air traffic controllers at its advanced Training Centre in Al Ain.

Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of GCAA, emphasized the importance of the partnership: “This agreement underscores our commitment to maintaining the highest safety and efficiency standards in our airspace. By investing in top-tier training, we ensure our controllers are well-prepared to handle modern air traffic management challenges.”

Ahmed Al Jallaf, Assistant Director General of Air Navigation Services at GCAA, described the deal as a major step forward: “The customized training from GANS will enhance our operational capabilities and support our goal of leading in aviation safety and innovation. We anticipate significant improvements in our air navigation services from this collaboration.”
