Western Aircraft, a subsidiary of Greenwich AeroGroup, announced a significant achievement as its aircraft sales team surpassed $2 billion in total sales. This milestone highlights the company’s success since becoming a Pilatus dealer in 1996.
“All of us at Pilatus Aircraft are proud of the Western Aircraft sales team’s achievement of this major milestone,” said Tom Aniello, vice president of marketing for Pilatus Business Aircraft. “Since joining the Pilatus Authorized Sales and Service network in 1996, Western Aircraft has perennially been one of the top dealers in the world for PC-12 and PC-24 business aircraft.”
Western Aircraft, celebrating 60 years in business, became an FAA Certified Repair Station in 1957 and expanded into aircraft sales in 1996 as the Pilatus dealer for the Pacific Northwest. Over the next decade, it became the world’s largest Pilatus PC-12 dealer.
“The sale of the aircraft is just the beginning of the relationship,” said Phil Winters, vice president of aircraft sales and charter management for Western Aircraft. “One key reason for our success is that through our service center we are able to provide full life-cycle support to customers who purchase airplanes from Western Aircraft.”
In 2011, Western Aircraft expanded its offerings by becoming a Piper dealer, further contributing to its sales success. “We are thrilled for Western Aircraft as they achieve this incredible sales milestone,” said Ron Gunnarson, vice president of sales, marketing and customer support for Piper Aircraft.
Today, Western Aircraft remains the largest Pilatus aircraft dealer in the world and an authorized service center for both Pilatus and Piper, continuing its commitment to delivering exceptional service and customer experience.
