Raytheon Australia today announced its successful support to Exercise Talisman Sabre 2025 (TS25), the largest combined training activity between the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and the United States armed forces. The eleventh—and biggest—iteration of the biennial exercise brought together more than 40,000 personnel from 19 nations and two observers for three weeks of intensive, multi‑domain training across Australia and, for the first time, Papua New Guinea.

Integrated support across air, land and joint effects
Raytheon Australia delivered on‑the‑ground technical support and realistic threat simulation to enable high‑end warfighting scenarios involving warships, aircraft, armored vehicles and artillery.
- Ground‑based air and missile defence: The Joint Battlespace Systems team supported the ADF’s first‑ever NASAMS participation at Talisman Sabre, including AMRAAM live‑fire activities at Bradshaw FTA and field‑phase support at RAAF Base Tindal.
- Electronic warfare and OPFOR: The Joint Adversarial Training and Testing Services team deployed the Electronic Warfare Learjet and six crew to Rockhampton, conducting 30+ sorties—including aerial opposing‑forces serials—to expose aircrew to realistic EW threat environments.
- Battle management and C4: Battle Management System Support Services provided in‑field BMS expertise across Adelaide, Rockhampton, Townsville, Charters Towers and Darwin. JP 2072 field service representatives delivered EPLRS subject‑matter support at High Range and Shoalwater Bay Training Areas.
- Ranges and infrastructure: Air Weapons Ranges Support delivered surveillance, communications, safety and security infrastructure at Bradshaw and Delamere AWR. The Mobile Training Threat Emitter System (MTTES) team—32 specialists—planned and executed electronic‑warfare threat emulation effects, with U.S. EW ranges personnel observing and sharing best practices.
- Test range deployment: Woomera Test Range Support Services successfully deployed instrumentation to Beecroft Weapons Range, the first WTRSS instrument deployment outside South Australia.
