‘Toto’ Wolff joins Bombardier as its new ambassador

Bombardier has introduced former race driver turned billionaire investor and CEO Torger “Toto” Wolff as its newest worldwide brand ambassador. Team principal, CEO, and co-owner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F-1 racing team, Wolff has led the team featuring Lewis Hamilton—the all-time greatest F-1 driver—to become one the most successful sports teams in the world based on consecutive world championships.

“As a full-range Bombardier customer for over 15 years, starting with the Learjet and Challenger series through to the Global 6000, I appreciate and admire the exceptional level of quality and ceaseless innovation Bombardier stands for,” said Wolff, adding the OEM shares his drive for high-performance. “I’m looking forward to drawing on my experiences as I represent this fantastic brand around the world.”

Wolff will support the Challenger and Global lines, including the new super-midsize Challenger 3500 and the under-development flagship Global 8000, as well as the recently unveiled EcoJet research program and will focus his ambassadorial role around the OEM’s worldwide service network.

“Toto is a visionary leader and entrepreneur who embodies the spirit of innovation, excellence, performance, and competitiveness that have all become synonymous with Bombardier business jets around the world,” said Éric Martel, the Canadian airframer’s president and CEO. “We are particularly proud that Toto’s discerning eye and quality-driven mindset have led him to deepen his ties with Bombardier through this agreement.”
