Ali M. Aldukhan Joined Kuwait Airways on March 14, 1971, as a trainee and later as co- pilot. In March 1978, he became a pilot at age 26, becoming the youngest Kuwaiti captain on the Boeing 707 fleet. In 1980, he was appointed as a trainer and Deputy Chief Pilot of the Boeing 707 fleet, then as its chief. He later joined the Boeing 747 fleet and became its head in 1984. In 1988, he was appointed as Deputy Director- General for Operations Affairs of Kuwait Airways. He was in charge and commander of the Amiri Airplane from 1988 and during the period of invasion and liberation until 2016. During the Iraq invasion, he oversaw the management and continuity of Kuwait Airways’ operations, as well as the transfer of allied soldiers from several places to Dhahran. In 2000 he was appointed as a consultant with the rank of Deputy Director- General in the Chairman’s Office until his retirement in 2016 after spending 45 fruitful years with Kuwait’s national airline.
