Francisco Gomes Neto is the President and CEO of Embraer, the world’s third-largest manufacturer of commercial jets.
With an electrical engineering degree, a specialization in Business Administration, and an MBA in Controllership and Finance, Neto built his career in the automotive industry, holding CEO positions over the last 20 years, both in Brazil and in the United States.
Prior to his appointment as CEO of Embraer in 2019, Neto served as CEO of Marcopolo, in which he successfully led the company’s transformation, generating strong sales growth and market value for the business.
Previously, Neto was the CEO Americas for Mann + Hummel and President of Knorr Bremse (global leader in control systems for commercial vehicles), among other leadership positions.
Embraer is a global company headquartered in Brazil with businesses in commercial and executive aviation, defense & security and agricultural aviation. The company designs, develops, manufactures, and markets aircraft and systems, providing services and support to customers after-sales.
