Freshta Farzam is the CEO and Founder of LYTE Aviation. A visionary business venture she formed in 2020 which today has the support of global leaders and investors in the aviation industry.
Her responsibilities include business development and strategic collaborations with key partners and suppliers, operators, government entities, universities, and research institutes up to infrastructure partners airports/vertiports, energy providers (SAF & hydrogen), communications and corporate responsibility, as well as technical management, legal affairs, and finance & ESG. She also takes care of global sales, revenue management, and simultaneously, product development.
Born in 1981 in Hamburg, Germany, Farzam first studied Sociology and Psychology for her Bachelor’s degree and later took up International Management and Foreign Trade for her Master’s at the University of Applied Sciences (HAW) Hamburg. Farzam started her career in 2010 at the strategic management consultancy Deloitte and worked afterward in various industries and several countries, such as for coal and steel industries up to green hydrogen, direct air capture, and biomass in Europe or the US. Today, she is a German Entrepreneur who believes that a bold mindset, sharp focus, and passionate co-creation is the solution that enables innovation and advancement in passenger and cargo transportation worldwide. Farzam has more than 10 years of experience in the green energy and aviation industries. At LYTE Aviation, she is pioneering the heavyweight 40seater hybrid-hydrogen eVTOL aircraft that expands the horizons of current dimensions, shapes, and opportunities of passenger and cargo transport, disrupting the mass transit markets from buses, trains, and ferries to helicopters and regional aviation.
