Tryst, IIT-Delhi and Aviakul Group of Companies join hands to organize 3rd edition of EAMRO

The 3rd edition of “Emerging Trends in Aviation MRO Industry” (EAMRO’24) is scheduled to take place on 29th March, 2024 at Seminar Hall, IIT Delhi. After successful conduction of 1st edition at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Delhi and 2nd edition at Indian Aviation Academy (IAA), Delhi- this edition promises to be bigger and better.

The highlight of the event includes two panel discussions, several keynote lectures and fireside chats. The first panel discussion, moderated by Col. K.V. Kuber shall be on “Transformative technologies reshaping MRO operations in Civil and Military” which will include esteemed panelists like Lt. Gen. Ajay Kumar Suri (DG, Army Aviation, Indian Army), Mr. Bharat Malkani (Chairman, Max Aerospace and Aviation Limited), DIG Jamal Taha (TM, Principal Director, Indian Coast Guard), AVM Sanjeeb VSM (Assistant Chief of the Air Staff, Maintenance Plans, Indian Air Force) and AVM Sukhchain Singh ( Former Air officer in Charge Maintenance, Indian Air Force) where as the second panel discussion is on International collaborations and investments in Indian MRO, moderated by Ms. Poonam Chawla (Associate Publisher, AirCargo Update) and will included eminent panelists such as Mr. Ajay Kumar (Managing Partner, KLA Lega), Cdr. Gautam Nanda (Associate Partner, Aerospace and Defense, KPMG India), Mr. Manan (Assistant VP, Invest India),  Mr. Sandeep Bahl (Director, US-India Aviation Cooperation Program) and Mr. Tejaswi Naramsimhan.

To make things more interesting, the event shall feature two fireside chats- the first one shall be on “Emerging Trends in Aircraft material science and structural integrity” between Mr. Ashwini Sharma and Gp. Capt. GVG Yugandhar (DG, Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau) and the second one is on “Circular Economy in Aviation MRO between Mr. Bishnu Charan Behera (Technical Advisor, Ministry of Civil Aviation) and Mr. Mangalam Pandey (Lead- Technical Services, Air India). Finally, the three keynote lectures include “Future of IFSCA in Aviation and MRO Industry” by Mr. Ashutosh Sharma (Chief GM, Development, International Finance Services Centers Authority), “Role of Drones in MRO” by Capt. Aman Johri (CEO, Jatayu Unmanned technologies) and a feature presentation by Autotrade Aviation.

EAMRO’24 is sponsored by Imperial Tailoring, Autotrade Aviation, Aman Aviation and Jatayu Unmanned Technologies, while it is supported by big names of the aviation industry such as Air India Engineering Services Limited, Pawan Hans Limited, GMR Aero Technic, Air Works as MRO partners. The main airline partner is SpiceJet and cargo partner is Pradhaan Air. The outreach partners are Aeronautical Society of India, Rotary Wing Society of India, Indian Women Pilot’s Association and SIA- India.

EAMRO’24 is being conducted under the aegis of Tryst, IIT Delhi which boasts of 80+ events and a footfall of 120,000+ people over a 3-day period. Tryst shall be happening from 29th March till 31st March.
