Vallair and CCAA Sign MoU to Boost Aircraft Maintenance and Training

Vallair, an MRO and aircraft asset specialist, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) to enhance training, aircraft maintenance, disassembly, and workforce development in Cameroon.

The agreement aims to address the global demand for qualified personnel in airworthiness, maintenance, and teardown, while exploring economic opportunities at secondary airports in Cameroon. Vallair will leverage its expertise to support CCAA’s world-class, ICAO, ACI, and IATA-accredited training facilities.

Grégoire Lebigot, President of Vallair Group, emphasized the synergy between Vallair’s maintenance and disassembly reputation and CCAA’s training capabilities. He highlighted the partnership’s goal to transfer Vallair’s expertise to Cameroon.

Paule Avomo Assoumou epse Koki, Director General of CCAA, noted the potential for economic and sustainable maintenance operations at CCAA’s domestic airports and the partnership’s role in advancing skills development.

Additionally, Vallair will host two Cameroonian students for advanced training in aircraft maintenance and recycling starting September. This training is part of the CAMRA diploma program, a collaboration between CCAA and the University of Yaoundé 1, designed to meet industry needs for high-level aviation managers.
